Announcing Tipi Jabrik’s Grom Patrol Camp and Comp 2021 Presented by Quiksilver and Roxy

23 June 2021, Bali-Indonesia: The ASC is delighted to announce that the 3^rd annual Tipi Jabrik’s Grom Patrol Camp and Comp will be happening here in Bali from 4-11 July, this year presented by Quiksilver and Roxy. Bigger and better than ever, this year’s Ultimate Training Camp will include some special new activities in addition to the focused surf coaching and training for the groms, and of course a two-day competition will round out the full 8-day program.

Only 20 spots are available for the Ultimate Training Camp this year, with the lucky groms staying at the Kosta Hostel in Seminyak as their base camp and Double Six Beach as their daily training ground, with Bali Elite Surf Coaching providing surfing theory and training, video analysis, and physical training and conditioning.

The focused surf theory and training by BESC is led by owner Dylan Amar, who trains the Indonesian National Surf team that led to Indonesia’s own Rio Waida getting a spot in the upcoming Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The Ultimate Surf Camp is open to boys and girls from age 8-16, and you can view the complete schedule of activities on the Megatix website as well as register at https://megatix.co.id/events/grom-patrol2021-camp. Plus when you join the Camp, you are automatically registered for the Comp as well.

Special additions to the Ultimate Training Camp this year include a couple of exciting afternoons at Finn’s Recreation Club at their Splash Water Park to enjoy their world-class water slides and do Underwater Breathing Technique training, plus do some Aerial Surf Training on their Bounce Trampoline, a Carver Surf Skate session at Amplitude Skate Park, and a Friday afternoon at Waterbom Aquatic Park. A Surf Lifesaving Course from Bali’s Lifeguard Department and a Kids & Parent’s Pizza and Movie Night round out the program.

Accomodation at Kosta Hostel Seminyak, meals, transportation, welcome packs with goodies from Grom Patrol sponsors, Grom Patrol T-shirts, their best 5 video clips and 10 best photos from the training sessions, Comp entry, BBQ at Awarding Party, and more are what is included in the 8 day Grom Patrol Ultimate Training Camp. Kids just need to bring their own towels and toiletries, plus of course their own surfboard, fins, and leash.
