Frequently Asked Questions
Where do athletes register for the 2026 events?
All athletes must register via the ASC LiveHeats portal here:
What are the age divisions for the 2026 Series?
Surfers under 20 years old will register and compete in the Junior division. Surfers aged 20 and over will register and compete in the Professional division.
If I am a Junior, can I compete in the Open/Professional division, and how do points work?
Yes, Juniors can enter the Professional/Open division. However, the ranking points you earn will be allocated strictly to the primary division you joined for that event (one division).
As an Event Organizer, how do I collect my entry fees?
ASC handles the registration via LiveHeats, but we do NOT manage the entry fees for independent events. You are responsible for collecting your own entry fees directly from the surfers. This prevents transaction delays and refund issues.
Can ASC handle the entry fee payments for my event?
If you would like ASC to fully manage your entry fee collection through the LiveHeats system, we can provide this service for an additional administrative fee. Otherwise, you handle your own registration.
Can a surfer who is not an ASC Member earn ranking points?
No. While non-members may participate in events, only registered ASC Members will receive points on the Asian Ranking System (ARS).
