May 3, 2019 – Phuket, Thailand

It was an amazing experience both for the children who attended the Summer Activities Camp for Phuket Youth 2019 during 23rd-27th April, 2019.
On the last day of SUP summer program, the children were able to maneuver the SUP with ease and paddled out to a further distance. All of us were having lots of fun on the board that day. Before Surfing Thailand ended the day, together they picked up trashes along the Sapanhin cove and Bangyai canal, cleaning their playground for the last five days.

President of Surfing Thailand, Mr. Chanin ‘Joob’ Aiyarak said “This is the first ever SUP event that is happening right in the middle of Phuket City and we have a lot of good feedbacks from the parents and all the children that participated in our event. Sapanhin Sport Complex is located in Phuket town and we plan to set up the SUP station for local children and the community who are interested in this sport to have opportunity to try the SUP experience and also plan to have an international SUP racing event in the heart of Phuket Town.”

Surfing Thailand would like to extend out gratitude to Phuket City Municipality for inviting us to be part of such a great program for the local children. Biggest thanks to Starbaord SUP and We SUP Thailand- Stand Up Paddle Boarding for equipping us with the the SUP and necessary equipments for us to carry out this SUP Summer Activities Camp for Phuket Youth 2019.
