The latest news is that Hawaii’s Nique Miller will be flying in on her way back from Europe to visit Jialeshue to join the event, and experience the area’s waves and culture. “I’ve always wanted to visit Taiwan, so I’m grateful for the chance to come and see it for the first time,’ she said. Nique is known for her stylish traditional longboarding, so it will be a treat to watch her perform on the waves of Jialeshuei.
Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the great waves, amazing food, unique culture, traditional music and more, and experience all the awesomeness that Pingtung County in South Taiwan has to offer!
With over $5,000 prize money in each APSS Division, that’s over $20,000 USD up for grabs in the Men’s and Women’s Longboard and Shortboard Divisions, not to mention valuable Asian Rankings Points.
