REnextop Asian Surfing Tour (RAST) Stop #1 at Kuta Beach in Bali all set to go from May 2-5

30 April 2018:  Bali, Indonesia.  The first RAST event of 2018 is set to start on Wednesday the 2nd of May at Halfway - Kuta Beach, with four divisions of competitors competing over the four day period for prize money and RAST championship points, with a magnificent final day sunset conclusion that includes an exciting awards celebration, a fire dance, the true blue rockabilly sounds of Bali’s own The Hydrant, and tunes by DJ DIZZ to close out the night and the event.

There will be a live webcast each day, broadcasting the event all over the world, so tell your friends to tune in!  Information will be posted on and on

There will be a surfers meeting on the beach at the event site from 5-7 pm tomorrow afternoon, May 1st, starting off by a welcome by REnextop management and then a briefing by Head Judge Keenan Roxburgh.  The specific contest schedule will be announced at the meeting, but the general schedule is as follows:


1 May:  5pm – 7pm, Surfer's Meeting – Halfway , Kuta Beach

2 May:  8am-9am, Opening Ceremony – Halfway

            9am – 10am, Traditional Dance

            10am – 5pm, Competition

3 May:  8am – 6pm, Competition

4 May:  8am – 6pm, Competition

5 May:  8am – 4pm, Competition

            5:30pm – 6:30 pm – Awarding

            6:30 pm – 7pm – Fire Dance

            7pm – 9pm – The Hydrant

            9pm – DJ DIZZ

About the REnextop Asian Surfing Tour

Through this series of competitions, REnextop will strengthen the integration of China's surfing community with the international surfing world to provide more opportunities, communication avenues and interactions. Surfers from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region including Japan, Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Taiwan are invited to compete in these events.
