REnextop Asian Surfing Tour (RAST) Stop #1 at Canggu, Bali Set to Begin on 8 June with Great Swell Forecast

6 June 2017:  Bali, Indonesia.  The first stop of the REnextop Asian Surfing Tour 2017, China’s first professional surfing tour, is set to begin on the 8thof June at Pererenan Beach, Canggu. Surfers from different countries in the Asia-Pacific region including China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, the Philippines and Taiwan as well as from Australia, Brazil, Hawaii, and the USA have already registered and are standing by for the start of the 4-day event.

The swell forecast is predicting plentiful and sizeable waves for the contest period, giving the contestants a great opportunity to experience the best of what this famed righthander can offer up.

The Men’s Shortboard Division is already full, but there are still a few spots open in the Men’s Longboard, the Women’s Shortboard, and Women’s Longboard Divisions at this time.

Entry fees are $50 per division for the Men’s, and $30 per division for the Women’s.

There will be a Surfer’s Meeting at the Premier Surf Camp on Wednesday evening the 7th of June at 7:00 pm to do introductions, go over the judging criteria, and any last minute event schedule changes.

Day One will open with Balinese prayers and a Kecak dance starting at7:30 am on the 8th of June, and the Women’s Shortboard Division is on deck to paddle out first according to the current swell forecast.
